» Marmara Un Sanayi was founded in 1972 in Tekirdag, one of Turkey's top grain producing regions. In just 3 years, Marmara Un Sanayi went from one single mill to 1100 tons/day milling capacity, becoming the first Turkish company to export flour.

» In 1980, Doruk Una Deger Katma was founded and began operating in the domestic market. Doruk Una Deger Katma has two flour mills in Hayrabolu and Corlu. Unmas Unlu Mamuller, which is active in the industrial bakery and bakery products markets, was founded in 1991.

» In 1997, Doruk Una Deger Katma extended its operations outside Turkey and to meet rapidly growing demand for its high quality growing products, signed longterm subcontracts for flour production with new mills supervised by its own staff in 2000.

» In 2002, Doruk Una Deger Katma formed a partnership with Zeelandia of the Netherlands, which has been the leader in the baking and patisserie sector for over a century. Zeelandia Doruk opened its first production facility in Hayrabolu in 2003, offering customers a wide product range including bakery ingredients and patisserie products.

» In 2003, Doruk Unlu Mamuller, a bakery products retailer, was founded with the aim of creating a new business category in Turkey; artisan bakeries. The first Doruk bakery opened its doors in 2003, and the chain has been expanding since then.

» In 2004, Doruk Una Deger Katma introduced enriched bread to the Turkish market and started seed production to grow wheats designed specifically, to create outstanding baker's flour. In the same year, Marmara Zirve began livestock feed production.
